Our Chamber Story

At the heart of our local economy, you will find The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Brawley hard at work. Celebrating and promoting the diversity and uniqueness of our community, The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Brawley's mission is to be “The Voice of Business” as a Convener for leaders of influence, a Champion for a strong community, and a Catalyst for business growth to enhance a healthy economic and social environment in our region.

Visualizing the potential to cultivate agricultural lands in Brawley, our founding fathers applied for incorporation in 1904 with the purpose of promoting trade, fostering commerce, and developing business interests. Today, more than ever, we find these purposes true to the work we do as a membership-based business advocacy and business resource organization which represents over 300 Members.

Our Chamber is the largest business organization in northern Imperial County. Its members include small businesses, corporations, associations, and individual professionals. The Chamber organizes and directs the efforts of those who share the desire to improve the conditions under which business is conducted. Through participation in the Chamber, members are able to accomplish collectively what they could not do individually. This spirit of collective action, partnership, and collaboration drives our successes.
